The story behind the code
I'm Krishna GSVV — CS student, builder & hackathon champion
Final-year B.Tech Computer Science student at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (CGPA: 8.55/10, graduating Jul 2026), based in Bengaluru and open to relocation. I build full-stack applications and AI systems that solve real problems — from browser extensions to deep learning pipelines.
Right now I'm a software intern at Fission Labs, working an AI and Python stack. I started in core Python, moved to FastAPI to build services, backed those with PostgreSQL and designed the REST APIs on top of them, and I'm now on retrieval-augmented generation — including docs-rag, a pipeline that answers strictly from the documents it is given and cites the passages it used.
I've competed at the national level and won five times: 1st at the IIT Hyderabad Pathway Hackathon, 1st runner-up at IIT Delhi CodeHive (₹1,00,000), 2nd runner-up at Tredence InfinityAI 2025 (₹2,00,000), 1st runner-up at ITM Gwalior's Code Kurukshetra with MomCare (₹35,000), and 1st at the Microsoft Imagine Cup campus round — ₹3.55L in prizes across 2025.
On the research side, my deep learning work on diabetic retinopathy prediction is published on IEEE, and the EquiLens bias-detection corpus is released on Zenodo. I maintain open-source tools people actually use — cSpell Sync has 2,100+ VS Code Marketplace installs, and I'm LeetCode 150+ with HackerRank 5-star Python & SQL.
My stack centers on React, Python, Node.js, and cloud (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, OCI Certified Architect Associate). Whether it's a VS Code extension, an ML pipeline, or a blockchain gateway — I care about code that's clean, fast, and worth shipping.
